Eleonora Narvselius, Fran Lloyd and Philip Dodds convened two conference sessions at SEIF2023 on ‘Autoethnography as an (uncertain) methodological experiment: suturing personal and collective experiences’, Know7, Friday 9 June at 9am and 3pm CET. Speakers included Eleonora Narvselius(Lund University); Marta Songin-Mokrzan (University of Lodz); Sarah Pini (University of Southern Denmark); Iulia-Elena Hossu (Romanian Institute for Research on National Minorities); Monika Vrzgulova (Institute of Ethnology and Social Anthropology, Slovak Academy of Sciences); Anna Witeska-Młynarczyk (Uniwersytet Marii Curie-Skłodowskiej); Alicia Sliwinski (Wilfrid Laurier University) and Siarhiej Makarevich (University of Tartu).
Philip Dodds also presented on “The reconstruction of various objects in the home that were destroyed in the attack”: The artistic materials of migrant home-making in Sweden’, in ‘Uncertain belongings: exploring the materiality of home among refugees and migrant’ on Thursday 8 June”
